Rani Mukerji is gearing up for the release of her film ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ and hence is seen more often lately. The actress was spotted at Mehboob Studio with Kareena Kapoor Khan as they posed together for the paparazzi. While Kareena wore a black shirt and pants, Rani opted for an easy breezy summer dress with sunglasses and both the girls looked pretty! The duo shot for Kareena’s show ‘What Women Want’.
While posing for the paparazzi with Kareena, Rani said, “Meri Jaan hai”.

The two actresses had shared screen space in ‘Mujhse Dosti Karoge’ which also starred Hrithik Roshan. They’ve always shared a great bonding with each other as the actresses had also appeared together once on ‘Koffee With Karan’.
‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ is based on a true story of a mother whose children were taken away from her by the Norway Government. The film showcases her fight to get back her children. Interestingly, Rani had never met Sagarika Chatterjee, whose life is documented in the film. When Sagarika saw the movie, she was touched, highly emotional and felt that she was re-living all of it. Rani met Sagarika for the first time at an event held in the city yesterday and it was a surprise for her. The actress was quite emotional to meet the real life Mrs Chatterjee.

Rani said she didn’t meet Sagarika because she wanted to bring in her own cinematic interpretation of this character just by getting the emotional chord right. Karan Johar had hosted the event as he said that Rani had done a favour on him by accepting ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ when all the other actresses had rejected the film.

The film is produced by Nikhil Advani, Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani. Rani also addressed rumours that she doesn’t do any film outside her husband Aditya Chopra‘s banner. The actress reacted to that and laughed, “My husband works with so many other actresses so I can also work with other producers.”
