  • 20 years ago, the United States came under attack from al-Qaeda terrorists that left around 3000 people dead. Two hijackers crashed into twin towers in New York, one into the Pentagon and the fourth one fell in an open space before hitting its target. The four planes were hijacked by 19 men, 15 of them were from Saudi Arabia and 4 others from Egypt, UAE and Lebanon. The attacks were planned for years by al-Qaeda with Osama Bin Laden as the chief architect.
