Delhi reported 180 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, the highest in six months, amid growing alarm over the Omicron variant of the coronavirus.

The number of active coronavirus patients increased to 782 – the most active patients in last five-and-a-half months.
However, there were no deaths liked to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
